A Senior's Perception of Hypnosis |
||||
|
First, let me introduce myself - My name is Harriette L. Woodards and I have had the honor and privilege of getting an understanding of Hypnosis. I can relate this to the negative and positive of life. How you ask? The negative being a computer. Why do I say this? When entering information into a computer, and by hackers using a virus, you are entering data. This to me relates to the fact that you are deteriorating the mind. How? When you give out positive expression to people, when you are trying to console them it is like a virus because at the same time you are taking in their negative feelings anonymously, and they become a part of you. If you have no means of rejecting this because of lack of awareness it can't help but become a part of you, especially your mind. Thus the mind is corrupted, just like a computer program that has a virus. The positive part I can relate to martial arts. Why? If you notice when Chuck Norris is demonstrating Kung Fu what and how they move and breathe, they are developing self-control of the mind, body, and the spirit. They are in an altered state - we call it Hypnosis - and self-control leads to healthy empowerment. My first instruction of Hypnosis opened by mind to let me really get a good look at myself. I didn't realize that I had become a trashcan where everybody had dumped their trash. I don't know whether or not I will go all the way with this course, but my desire is I want to, because of the experience in this class. I need to re-evaluate my associates. I need to take more time to re-evaluate me. I need to change my diet more than what I am doing, I need to eat more fruits and vegetables. I need to remember to use my 'worry bucket' and most of all remember to say to my self and others mentally, "I Love you". Last, but not least I believe that the healing practices, which are being demonstrated through the use of Hypnosis, will become the medicine of tomorrow. Harriette L. Woodards Ferndale, MI 05.01 |
